Greetings from Colorado

Hello everyone, I'm a MMJ patient with a valid red card and an Medical Marijuana Lease Addendum that allows me to grow 6 plants in my rented home ( lucky me!!! ). I wanted to stop by here and post this little blurb about me. I grew up in Texas and after many misdemeanor incarcerations for possession of marijuana, two knee surgeries, a back surgery along with the pain pill ( prescribed ) addiction that caused more problems than relief I moved to Colorado ( the best choice I've every made ) in April'12. Now that I have gotten my health back I have decided to start growing this wonderful plant, I will be posting a grow log in that forum and invite everyone to stop by. This will be my first grow so any input or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome. great post, best of luck to you. I'm in Oklahoma and have been thinking of doing the same for some time now. I need to. especially now that everyone can grow 6 plants legally. that is all I need really. If we had just that here in Oklahoma I would be fine but .. Best of luck, keep us posted and maybe I'll be posting my own similar thread soon.

Thanks boaz! I hope the tornadoes didn't effect anyone you know, being a native Texan I know personally how evil those things are especially in OK. I do suggest you do your research on where you want to live in CO. Some city councils are banning recreational sales of marijuana and clubs. Here in Colorado Springs the council is about split in half with more town meetings to come, also some rental places don't allow you to grow or even use marijuana it's a lease breaker.(It took me six months to find the place I'm at now and I live here!!) I just hope that the respective council members in all the towns at least look at the numbers and follow the will of the voters from November. To me the only way to honor the will of the voters is for the council persons to echo the people if the people voted for Amendment 64(in their district) then the council should allow the sales, if the votes were more for no on A64 then that council should ban.

Oh well here come the politics...
