CFL Best Current Prices

Trying to figure out where the best pricing is for CFL bulbs. Walking through Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart I see Wally World is cheapest for the 23W 5000K 1600 Lumen buls 4 packs at $9.98 sold under their brand name Great Value or $2.50 a bulb. Walmart Customer Service does stand behind their products for replacement or refund pretty good. Looking for best current prices.

Can anyone suggest a cheaper or better source for light bulbs.

Was trying to find 12 pack up deals.

I found the best price on CFL's or at least the 23W 1600 Lumen 2700K. 2 packs are $1.00 so I grabbed 10 boxes (store limit) or 20 bulbs for $10.00 plus sales tax. That makes them $.50 a bulb...Talk about getting in on the cheap. I may have to splurge and still grab a couple 4 packs somewhere for the 6500K bulbs and use 8 6500K with 8 2700K through out the entire grow cycle.

Next challenge finding el cheap bathroom strip light fixture 3 or 4 bulb strip. Then insert a Y adapter and have either 6 bulbs (3 light) or 8 (4 light) bulbs per strip. Maybe Habitat's reuse store will have some in house cheaply.

Just found a source for 3 Light socket cluster with 6" wire attached. Cost is $2.25 each. Using 9 equals 27 bulbs; 23W CFL mentioned above for $.50 each. That means cost will be 9 x $2.25 (3 light cluster) $20.25 + $13.50 (lights) + 15.03 (wiring & plugs) = $48.75 total for lights, sockets, and wiring and I'll get 43,200 lumen!
