Pre-employment drug test (Australia)

Hi,

Recently I was offered a job (pending drug screen). I need to pass this drug screen. I have been told the position will be open some time in the next 2-5 weeks and at that time they will call me to arrange the drug test.

I have been a daily smoker for around 10 years. I last smoked around 5 days ago, but I am worried that if they call me around the 2 week mark, rather than the 5 week mark, even with dilution I will still probably fail the test. I did try using N2s dilution method on a home test today and failed miserably, how ever, as I said, it has only been around 5 days since I ceased smoking.

So, I want to substitute. I have found a supplier of Quick Fix (Canadian) 5.7-1.
I assume the bottle will be small enough to fit (not so) comfortably under my sack without being detected.

My issue is that I am not sure whether I will be observed while I pee, or if at some point during the pre employment physical, they will ask me to take off my pants or will otherwise discover my secret bottle.

So, if anyone has any knowledge (preferably first hand experience taking a pre employment test in Aus) I would be extremely gracious of you easing my stress levels.

So basically, my questions are:

1. Am I likely to be observed urinating during a pre employment check?
2. Am I likely to have my testicles fondled during a pre employment physical?
3. Do you have similar experience that could ease my worried heart?
4. Do you think I could get away with N2's dilution method if I can't work up the courage to substitute?

Not sure of the testing protocols in the "Land Down Under" but here in the US, employment-related U/As are unobserved unless the donor had been suspected of tampering.

As far as physicals go, that depends on how in-depth your prospective employer wants to go and how willingly the employer wants to spend the money necessary for it.

Thanks Toast, I know you can't give me a definitive answer, but assuming I was an extremely stout fellow with high body fat and low metabolism who doesn't exercise at all, would you think 14 days would be enough time to successfully use the dilution method to pass (or even receive a dilute reading) on a drug test?
