To add to my comments above about cancer, I am too a pancreatic cancer patient doing chemo treatment and I am willing to bet my oncology doctor that it does kill cancer.

I did bet mine.

No chemo, no radiation, (both of which ARE carcinogens), just oil, which is not.

Prostate cancer, Gleason score of 7!
Been 6 years now And I appear to be winning that bet.

Please don't give up on your folks.
They are badly misinformed and may have need of an effective medicine sooner than you will.
This is clearly worth the effort.

Thanks for the hints Weeze. If you don't mind but what kind of oil did you use, where and if I can get it legally? I'm just using weed for right now. If there is a better way, I like to know. Thanks!

The bad news is, you can not possibly get a high enough level of the active ingredients through smoking.
And it would be quite difficult to eat enough bud to do so.
You'd have to eat about a 1/4 oz. of superior buds, twice a day!
That's why we make oil.

The good news?
If you can make a good cup of coffee, you can make good Cannabis oil.
It's a simple solvent extraction.

The resin is not soluble in water, but will dissolve in most organic solvents.
Naphtha, Ethanol, Isopropyl alcohol, etc.
It also mixes with other oils and fats, coconut oil, butter, cooking oil . . .

I started with this video.
"Run from the cure".
Google it up on u-tube.

It explains the process quite well.
And details a crude, but effective method.

Naphtha makes me nervous and is difficult to purge from the end product.
Hexane would be ideal, but I can't get it here.
So, I switched to rubbing alcohol, (Isopropyl.)
That works a treat, but also takes up some water because alcohols are bipolar.

Boil off was getting expensive, and wasteful, so I switched to Ethanol and I condense and re-use the solvent.
Got around the bipolarity by freezing the buds and the alcohol and doing a short, ~3 minute, wash.

I understand that I'm a bit geeky, and tend to forget that most folks are, um, more normal.

So, I refer you to the video, it has all the information that you need.
When you want to improve and streamline the process, I suggest that you do a search for "Gray Wolf".
He was my mentor.

I think the first step though, is a thorough understanding of your local laws.
Look them up, then act accordingly.
I know very little about your locale, but it's always wise to know the "downside" before you place the bet, yah?

The upside is variable.

Just to get a little higher?
Probably not worth the risk.
Just to save someones life?

Neither did I.
But, I'll do whatever I must.

If I knew of a way to purchase oil from a trustworthy source, I would have shared that of course.
Sadly, I do not.
My Glioma patient's immune system took a major hit from his allopathic medication.

Some insecticides are oil based, (so they can endure rain)
Many commercial growers are clueless about toxic chemicals and their concentration with oil extraction.
We have no dispensaries here and a plethora of hungry tropical insects.
And I've seen things used on cannabis that I wouldn't use on a lawn!
Purity of the oil was essential, so I learned how to do it myself.

I do hope that you find what you need.
I could not.
If that changes, I'll let you know.
And I'll expect you to do the same.
