I don't know that particular vaporizer, but I notice that I, too, have some problems vaping, especially with the Vapor Genie. And the high from vaping is different from one of smoking - I get more of a body high, and it's not that same or as intense as a head high.

I suggest you try edibles- if you can't make or find cannibutter, I suggest you make Firecrackers. No need for butter, just slather a graham cracker with peanut butter or Nutella, sprinkle weed straight onto it (make sure to get the weed as covered as you can by the peanut butter/nutella. I suggest cracking the cracker in half, buttering both insides, sprinkling the weed, then sticking them together and twisting them back and forth until the weed is mixed in). Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes. They're not the most delicious, but they're fine, and make me really high (maybe I just add too much weed though. The first time I had these, I was literally knocked out all day haha. But the second time I ate one before a museum trip and it was the best trip ever)

Just keep in mind that edibles take a while to kick in (maybe an hour) so while you can still vape after eating, I would suggest you wait to see how much it hits you.

Also, another suggestion, if smoking is too harsh... Ever thought of smoking into a shake (blowing the smoke into the straw?) The cold of the shake might help if your throat gets sore from smoking. Also, a bong with lots of ice might help, too. Very easy to hit, though sometimes I hit too hard and end up in a coughing fit.
