Greets folks! Old hat here, new game it seems. I look forward to browsing your archives. Mother just got her card and the task is proving difficult in findin the best way for her to kit her pain meds. She's tried vaporizing, glycerine orally and vaped.... now onto cannacaps. I'd like to excapsulate some shatter for her to try, but unsure about dosing...... would hate to over medicate her right off the bat .

Welcome to the forum, it's nice to meet you. I don't really know what to suggest for your predicament. Maybe make or find her some edibles?

Oh hey, thanks for the reply! Yeah, i'm thinking a gram of shatter melted melted on warm stove in 4grams coconut butter and incapsulating at aroud 50mg shatter per dose. Figuring 20 oral doses per gram concentrate. But it's a process..... i don't want to overdose her. Working as a paramedic 7+ years in portland, I've seen maybe 3 mj related overdoses.... all new to the ganja with well meaning friends..... nothing life threatening. Just scared them.
W/lethargy, dizzyness, nausea, exc.

As per the weed candy..... she is a diabetic, so........

Diabetic? Aw noes. =( Well, good luck with your search for some way to help her. I hate to ask, but has she tried a bong with ice? Or, I should ask, do you know why she seems to be having trouble taking her medicine? (Is it psychological? Stomach problems? Just doesn't take to it?)
