    Hello From the Midwestern state

Hello, I am a pancreatic cancer patient using marijuana. I have seen it is working for me with chemo. I have to do chemo biweekly and use marijuana to relief from suffering due to side effects. I used to smoke some 20 years ago and stopped. I used to drink beer until 1996 and quit smoking cigarettes habit of 30 years about 4 years ago. I just started marijuana last month and believe me, for the short time it helps me. I live in Illinois so I'm no stranger to medical marijuana in this state. Well, it past both Houses and awaiting for Governor Pat Quinn to sign it into law. They are going to do a 4 year test pilot program. I have discussed this with my Oncologist and she is very much against it. I wonder why? Does she support the drug company with dangerous chemotherapy drugs. She had me started on 3 doses of chemo per treatment and it put me outta work due to my weakness. And I couldn't handle it so she had to cut it down to 2 doses. It's more tolerable. I may return to work part time. Nice to be here and thank you for having me.

    Hello From the Midwestern state

glad to have ya buzzy, most doctors support traditional medicine over alternative for a ton of reasons. biggest is probably to avoid legal problems.
then theres the money from pharma companies and well, cancer is sadly big business. hang in there.

I'm planning on staying awhile. We hardly get tornadoes where I'm at but that doesn't mean that I won't get one. Thank you all for the welcome. BTW, how many posts do you require before the "Like" appears on my profile?

Buz, are you in a "legal state"? Point being there are tons of peeps in the same exact state as you.... different diseases & stages of. Point being if ya have enough energy/gumption it would behoove you to cultivate. It's not rocket science But involves some intensity & belief. Absolutely doable to raise a crop in 6 months? Folks would help you out w/o ridicule, just need to put on your "thinking cap". Get Some!!!

Peace be upon you & of course Welcome

Dang! tried to up rep you and fat-fingered it.

Smoking cannabis is excellent for the symptoms of traditional chemo.
    But, why stop there?
The pancreas is rich with endo-cannabinoid receptors.
It is one of the cancers that "Simpson oil" is having great success putting into remission.

When he heard that I had Prostate cancer.
A friend gave me a dvd that, so far, has saved my wrinkly old butt from the reaper.
Suggest that you google "Run from the cure"!

My MMJ patient has an aggressive astrocytoma and is showing no growth since he started taking cannabis oil.
    Going on 14 months now!

Chemo kill more people than cancer does.
I'd also suggest that you find a different oncologist.
It's one of the most important choices you will ever make.

    Aloha nui,
And I'll fix the rep. blunder as soon as I'm able.
    Sorry 'bout that
(Would some of you guys rep him out of that red dot, please.)
