RDWC ph dropping daily, lockout?
Attachment 291815Temps air:68-78
Temps reservoir :68-72
Nutirents:Lucas formula 0-8-16 general hydroponics. (Floro micro hard water)
Water:tap
Ph:5.3-6.2 once I put in my nutrients solution I then adjust ph using ph down or dynagro protekt for ph up. By the next day it goes from 6.0 to 5.5 sometimes it's not as drastic but it definitely drops almost every hour.

I seemed to show signs of my sulfur deficiencies a couple weeks ago. Then I realized my tap water is running at 280 ppms so I dropped calmag out of my feeding schedule and bought the micro hard water. My plants color seems to start coming back and they aren't as droopy as they were. But I still have dark purple stems and intervenins . I'm confused to what is cause my ph to drop? Is that why I'm having mg sulfur def? Since those elements lockout at 5.7 or lower? I haven't been able to get my ph to stay over 5.7santosthemantos420 Reviewed by santosthemantos420 on . This does look like a nute problem. Doesn't the micro of GH have magnesium in it? I can't remember where the calcium is, which bottle it's in. 280 for tap seems a little high. I wonder if it might be better to use distilled. Are you sure it's mg and sulphur def? It doesn't really look like sulphur at this point, or mag def. I wonder if you add some of the GH nitrogen, green bottle right?, that this might change. Are all plants showing the same thing? No clue about your dropping pH. You don't have a cat that pees in the buckets, do you? I'm kidding. Seriously, try distilled water and consider modifying the nutes some. Look for an element that might be missing. This could be missing boron or moly. Hard to say.

RDWC ph dropping daily, lockout?
I was thinking sulfur because of yellow new growth. Or zinc. Idk at this point. I'm not familiar with this particular strain so the feeding schedule is def off. I am using the oLucas formula 0-8-16 micro and bloom. I am flushing them right now and they seem to look alot better. I'm gonna switch to different feeding refining. And 280 is def high. So u think I should get an r/o system? And how do u fix the boron and molybdenum def? Never had any deficiency. U recommend any certain nutes for rdwc? For some reason the ph is dropping with the Lucas formula. Or it could be the chlorine evaporating in the water I guess.

Perhaps try dynagrow fert instead. yellow new growth could be sulphur def. use distilled water. don't know why pH drops.

might want to consider an automated doser to maintain your ph.
