i have a 700 watt black dog light i can get within 12 inches or so to seedlings no problem, it isnt your light. blackdog makes some of the most intense leds lights around

The plan: to make a very small compact unit that could easily be modified. My setup uses storage boxes that can be stacked - if i run out of head room i just add another box!
