I have a 70 watt HPS that I might put in during the "tiny little plant" phase, and then haul out the big gun later. If only to help cut down on my power bill, I try not to leave that sucker on when I don't need to.

Here's my plan, and you guys tell me what you think: First week: Floros only, 20 on, 4 off. Let the plants adjust and get used to being little plants. Maybe turn on 1000W HPS every now and then for an hour or two. Rating: 5
