Greetings to all of you. I've been reading the boards for a while but now I have an issue I'd like to discuss with you. :wtf:

So you are all familiar with the "faint line" issue but just to make sure, please take a look at the attached photo and give me your honest idea.

And here is my story: :smokin:
Former heavy smoker(once every 1 or 2 days). Smoking rate dramatically decreased to once every 2-3 weeks since 9 months ago.
Last session was exactly 20 days ago. My drug test will be in four days (24 days from the last time I smoked)
I haven't used any detox kit nor I drank cranberry juice or a lot of water.
I've bought Aspirin to take on the test day.

Please take a look at my test result and advise accordingly.

Read the directions with your panel. All the ones that I have used ALWAYS say that the color of the line is NOT an indication of pass/fail, or closeness to the pass/fail cutoff. A line is a line is a line.

I cant find the exact instructions for my last Amazon pack, but over 95% of samples indicated NO LINE when AT the exact cutoff level, and 100% indicated NO LINE when above it. Immunoassays are pretty darn accurate (save for the EMIT).

Also, Aspirin will do absolutely nothing unless you are subject to an EMIT panel, which is unpopular these days due to high false-positive rates.

IMO best to sub if you are uncertain.

Thank for for your reply. I am aware that the color is not an indication of pass or fail but I am not sure if that counts as a line or not on my test. I'm happy to see that someone else can see the line too !
That's not the first pee in the morning though, does it matter?

Your home test result is a negative. I can see a line there and thats without blowing up the pic.

Rule of thumb: If it can be photocopied, its a line.

Anytime you test yourself with a THC test kit, you should always use the first urination of the day when THCA concentrations would be at their highest. By doing it this way, you are testing yourself under the "worst-case scenario". If you can test negative under that "worst-case scenario" (faint line or not), then youre good to go.
Taking a home test during the latter parts of the day skews the results due to the consumption of fluids (a normal and natural occurance) that happen during the course of the day. The fluid consumption temporarily reduces the THCA concentration (by diluting) in the bladder to where the test kit can register a negative and inject false hopes. The dilution phenomena is only temporary - once youve urinated out all of the fluids consumed, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys, and the donor is right back to square one.

Well, the line seems much fainter in you actually enlarge the picture. I am going to buy another home-test kit and test myself with first urination of the day.
