cheap or easy rooting agent?

i was wondering whats a good rooting agent that i might already have in the house i heardhoney but it didnt work for me. i am using soil as my medium ocean farm actully i know it has nutrients in the soil but i was assured it wouldnt hurr the clones

Willow water, green young willow shots, soaked in water then use water.

I read the Willow tree has the same properties as expensive hormone gel sold at your local green house. This is how Grandmother would root her cuttings and she had a amazing "green thumb" She would cut about a dozen thin branches off a willow tree , remove leaf and then cut each branch into 2-3 inch pieces. Place in large stock pot and boil, then cover and simmer awhile. Let sit a day cooled ; then pour the water into jars to place her cuttings while they root.

Why does it have to be something cheap? Don't you want something reliable? Buy some Clonex for $22. Because they're worth it.

well i wanted to get sumthing that would help me asap and maybe sum trix i didnt know about rooting currently i am taking clones an flowering them to see which are males currently i have 4 plants size ranges from 2-4feet in vegbut using cfls thats why i want to know rooting products or solutions bit im on a very tight budget seeing as the economy is still low

This is exactly what I was going to post! Willow water is great! Also helps releve plant stress, protects against transplant shock, overall good plant tonic, & get this, it will cure your acne! Yep, willow bark. The original, natural source of salisilac acid (spelling). Also what asprin is made from! Go willow!
You don't have to root them in the water, you can use soil, sand, vemiculite, or oasis floral foam & water them with the willow water. I prefer this method. I don't like 'water roots' they're brittle & break too easy when planting the rooted cutting.
