It's a small fly that lays eggs inside the leaf.
The larvae burrow as they eat and draw those leaf-doodles.

They are relatively harmless.
You can kill them by hand.
Find the end of the trail and thumbnail 'em.
Or, just live with it.
They're a very minor pest.
