LED Panels for Flower?

Good day; thinking about switching to LED grow panels when flowering. Have 4 multi color/spectrum panels with a total of 56w. Chose this secondary to heating issues. Know there are mixed revues but should I waste my time visa vie shooting my self in the foot? Thanks

I think it looks pretty viable. Of course he's using CFL side lighting, but thats never a bad idea.

I think I saw panels similar to that on ebay fairly cheaply. Can you do me a huge favor and do a log when you do this? Or at least do weekly progression?

Hell yea, will doc all. Snagged them cheap on eBay for like 72$ ship included. Still a bunch of time till flowering but hoping the heat will decrease. No plumbing lol.

I hate being da bad news guy.

First, LEDs can be used for flowering and will grow some very potent buds.

Just not those leds.
We call them China panels.
Not sayin' it's impossible to flower with these, cannabis can take a joke.
I'm just saying that you will not be thrilled with the yield and a smoke alarm is mandatory.

It's the second panel to fail in less than 6 months.
There is no current limit other than a resistor so they blow out whole strings at a time.

Posted it because I used to be an electrician.
How unsafe is it?
Extremely!
There's good reason that you don't see an Underwriter's Laboratory sticker.

I had two of them, they are crap, sorry.
