oh...and how do u turn ur plants purple without killin em??? And when would be a good stage to do that at? or do u not recommend it?? I should probly look at the other ones that say sometin about it but im too lazy rite now...LOL

there's good purple and bad purple good purple comes from the strain itself.. bad purple is what happens when your plants are too cold, they turn purplish but dont have the "purple" taste.

if all you care about is the color, just add food coloring to your water you can make whatever color plants u want hehe

ok but i tried that with one of my other 'regular' plants and it killed it...so i hope it dont happen with my babies.

I happen to know the answer to this one.

Food coloring doesn't really hurt your plants at all, unless you do it in EXTREMELY high doses. I'm taking something to the tune of an ounce or so per day; that would probably stunt its growth to some degree. But all in all, food coloring is quite harmless stuff.

Sadly, the color doesn't change much. There are actually a lot of colors in plants, but green is the most dominant. So even when you start loading another color in, the natural green that the plant wants to become stays that way, and is competing with your colors. Furthermore, the green is always being produced, so the minute you stop coloring is the minute it goes away.

Blue works best if you're going to try anything, and red is a close second. They wont turn the plant a crazy color, but it will "tint" them quite considerably.

As far as marijuana goes, I'm not sure if the buds themselves would change colors, and it might make it hard to determine when to harvest, as color is such an important thing.

I'll probably do some experiments with one of my weaker plants and see what the heck happens. The last time I did this, I was in junior high, and we were doing it with tomatoes.
