I passed my drug tests and survived probation with dilution.
Hello Cannabis.com community!
I've been coming here for information for years, but have only recently registered. So I guess this is my first thread on this site!
Anyways...
I just got done serving 6 months of supervised probation. I had monthly meetings, with a possible random drug test. For the first two months, I played by their rules and didn't smoke. It was HARD. I couldn't take it anymore, so I starting smoking just a little the two weeks following my meetings. I'm 27, 6'3" 170 lbs, so I figured that I wouldn't hold a high concentration of THC metabolites for long. To make sure I could keep tabs on my metabolite levels, I ordered a pack of single-strip tests (15 for $12.99 on Amazon) to track when I hit the cut-off level. My drug tests at probation were standard 6-strip tests, but had the same cut-off as the strip tests available to the public. If they got suspicious, they always had the option of sending it to the lab, so I made sure I could make a dark line on the at-home test. I know a faint line is supposed to be a pass, but it can raise suspicion in a probation officer.
I read N2's dilution guide and followed it to the letter. ( http://boards.cannabis.com/drug-test...uidelines.html ). I personally always gave myself at LEAST 10 days to bring my metabolite levels down, so I was at least diluting an already slightly diluted system. I'd also exercise fairly heavily all throughout the months, so I never kept any fat cells for long. But I would always stop exercising the 3 days leading up to my test.
Do practice runs! Single-strip tests are CHEAP on amazon, get yourself enough to have plenty to mess with. You want to make sure you get your B-vitamin levels right. You don't want to end up giving them some crazy neon-looking stuff. You only want -just enough- of the B-complex to give a natural tint. Just enough to look like someone who is healthy and drinks enough water. I was tested twice and my officer didn't even get suspicious at all. Also, practice runs will build your testing confidence, and make those hard-to-pee-while-someone-is-watching moments a lot easier to handle.
So here I am. I am finally off probation and feel like a free man again. I at least have a whole slew of rights back. I know it was dangerous to smoke while I was on probation, but I did a lot of research and got the tools I needed to make sure it worked. I know there's a lot of people out there who also feel the benefit outweighs the risk. I figured sharing my personal success story and tips might help somebody, somewhere. I know other people's tips and stories have helped me.
Now, I'm going to go enjoy a much-needed bowl and coffee. :thumbsup:PatchesMacFeely Reviewed by PatchesMacFeely on . I passed my drug tests and survived probation with dilution.
