I will do that to the roses to test it out, but if they infest my babies would it cause damage if I sprayed the leaves? Not in direct sunlight of course

I started a little early but I live in california and its already been hitting 80 degrees everyday. Im only growing 2 plants from seed, both are the same unknown "purple" strain.
