Not it!

Here's why I say that.
It is a class 3 carcinogen so I'd want to boil it off completely.

Without using a vacuum pump, that will be a problem.
d-limonene boils at 177 ℃. at 1 atmosphere.
That's north of 300 ℉.
A real deal-breaker for me.
It would cook all the goodness out of my oil.
With a vacuum, the 5% residual is not acceptable to me.

As a medium for medibles, I think coconut oil, or hemp oil are much better choices.
They have a good Omega-3 ratio which potentiates healing.
That, and they are not classed as carcinogens.

Limonene got it's class-3 rating from induced renal cancer in rats.
The Wiki says that it has not caused cancer in humans.
Also, you dont know the process of vacuum distillation obviously. The Limonene would be basicly completely left behind. and under correct vacuum, the THC will NOT be destroyed at that heat. You cant use coconut oil to vacuum distill freeking hash oil! thats like... plugging your tv into a steaming pile of poo. you could do it, but its definitely not going to do what you want.

Google Vacuum distillation and then come back and reply =)
Marzfisch64 Reviewed by Marzfisch64 on . Will This Make The Best Hash Oil Available? I need to know if, in a theoretical world, where it was legal to do, could one grind herb finely and mix into a flask of D-Limonene and vacuum distill the THC out of this Slurry? So long as you are able to do this successfully, from my understanding is this will produce a fine pristine 'Hash Oil' that will have a high THC content, and little or no Chlorophyll Does all this sound correct? Do you agree this will produce a pristine Hash Oil that will contain high amounts of THC. 'PureGold Rating: 5
