Which will get you some real information.
As much as I do want D-Limonene to be the perfect solvent.
Actual facts get in the way.
Toxicological Data on Ingredients:
DLimonene: ORAL (LD50): Acute: 4400 mg/kg [Rat]. 5600 mg/kg [Mouse]. DERMAL
(LD50): Acute: >5000 mg/kg [Rabbit].
Not terribly toxic, but read on!
Section 3: Hazards Identification
Potential Acute Health Effects:
Hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant, sensitizer), of eye contact (irritant), of inhalation (lung irritant). Slightly hazardous in
case of skin contact (permeator), of ingestion.
Potential Chronic Health Effects:
CARCINOGENIC EFFECTS: 3 (Not classifiable for human.) by IARC. MUTAGENIC EFFECTS: Not available. TERATOGENIC
EFFECTS: Not available. DEVELOPMENTAL TOXICITY: Not available.
Those "not available"'s are a big red flag!
Because rat data IS available and it's not good.
So, what else ya got?
Aloha,
WeezardWeezard Reviewed by Weezard on . Will This Make The Best Hash Oil Available? I need to know if, in a theoretical world, where it was legal to do, could one grind herb finely and mix into a flask of D-Limonene and vacuum distill the THC out of this Slurry? So long as you are able to do this successfully, from my understanding is this will produce a fine pristine 'Hash Oil' that will have a high THC content, and little or no Chlorophyll Does all this sound correct? Do you agree this will produce a pristine Hash Oil that will contain high amounts of THC. 'PureGold Rating: 5
