Subbing with drug test at concentra

I have a drug test coming up for pre-employment. The test is done at concentra. I would prefer to sub out of any other option. I bought "Ultra pure pre-mixed synthetic urine" made by ultra klean?

It is only the 2 oz version, and I heard that the minimum needed in the cup is 2 oz. Will they notice that there's no urine in the toilet? At Concentra they prevent you from flushing, and they have a blue liquid in the toilet bowl. I feel like it is dangerous to use my dirty (real) urine to fill the toilet bowl since they could probably test that.

I guess my main concern is them figuring out it is synthetic since I will have only 2 oz in the cup, and nothing in the toilet bowl.

If they happen to make a fuss about the fact that there was no urine present in the toilet, simply tell them that you were able to urinate just enough to provide 2 ounces and nothing more. 2 oz is enough sample for any U/A.

Thanks for the reply Burnt Toast. Do you think it would arouse suspicion if there was only 2 oz in the cup, and none in the toilet? I plan on using Ultra Pure, which I heard doesn't have much of a smell to it. I don't want them to think I subbed.

Nope. Because not everyone has a full bladder upon entering the collection facility. As long as youre able to provide a sufficient amount of urine sample (again, 2 oz) , thats all they are interested in.

I plan on using Ultra Pure, which I heard doesn't have much of a smell to it.

A lack of odor can be exhibited in human urine samples too.

It wouldnt be if you have enough urine in your bladder to urinate in the toilet.

Nope, drug tests are not conducted in that manner. Testing costs money and testing facilities, like any other business, have a profit margin to look after. They are not going to imperil their bottom line by running such a test, only to find the sample either "too-diluted" (due to the large amount of water in the toilet bowl), or "adulterated" (due to the bluing agent thats present in the toilet bowl, as required by the regulations outlined by the DHHS).

I went in to get my test done today. It went a lot better than I expected. They made no fuss whatsoever about there being no urine in the toilet, and that there was no odor, and not a lot of foam. I am pleased with the experience.

I was a little worried that I wouldn't have enough of the fake urine to fill it up to the line since the required amount is 2oz, and all I had was 2 oz...The bottle leaked a little bit, which worried me even more. But I had plenty of fake urine to get above the line

I passed the temperature check. They sealed it and said the results will be in within 24-72 hours, and my employer would let me know the results.

The result I get all depends on the ultra pure synthetic urine. So hopefully the batch I had is good, and will pass all the tests they do on it.

I have done many collections at Concentra since ~2008 and never once has a tech said anything about urine in the toilet, foaminess, or smell.

All they care about is temp and >45ml.

I just went to concentra to do a pre-employment drug test and used synthetic. Everything was fine: the amount, the timing, the temp; and I was supposed to get my results withing 20 mins-they came out and said their machine didn't work and it would have to be sent to the lab. Should I concerned?

Just a quick follow up-looks like I passed! Employer said they'd call by Weds if there was a problem and never got the dreaded call! Will start work Monday

Also, there was one time where I provided a drug test and I was only able to urinate juuuust enough to fill the cup. The MOST they would do is make a note in the comments about it (if they did in fact), which shouldn't arouse suspicion because they make notes about everything. One time they put down that I had a "shy bladder" because I went in and then came out a few minutes later and said I needed to drink more water because I wasn't ready. It's no big deal.

The only thing is is that once you first attempt or show up, you aren't allowed to leave until you provide one or it is considered a refusal to test (which is bad news if you are taking a DOT test).
