I guess it's not good that you have the bugs lurking around after a second thought. Even though it sounds like the oil was already finished and they were indulging on the leftover material, but that still means you have bugs around that enjoy the herb which I suppose is a problem. Dident mean to sound inconsiderate, I guess I dident think about consequences past the initial incident.

I really appreciate all the information though my brotha. Through the past couple days I have been learning that I still have much to learn about all this and there is a lot I do not know.

I guess all there is now is to just wait and see how it all turns out. I will definitely keep this thread up to date and post the finished results with some pictures.

And thanks for your response as well shovel handle. It sounds like from what I've been hearing that doing the extraction below freezing is the best way to go because all the water solubles are tied up in ice.

I'm thinking something along those lines will be my next experiment. Except I think I'm going to stick with ethanol probably and use the method Weezard was suggesting and have seen Graywolf explain on another site a little bit ago. I just have to do a little more research first just so I can go into it with a better understanding than I have now. Which I admit is quite feeble.
