when to flower??

hello everyone I have a indica clone that I have been vegetating for 2 1/2 weeks she is 9 1/2 inches tall under a 400hps and very bushy:thumbsup:. I have a 4ft grow space from top of medium to light. im not sure when to start the flowering phase I didn't see the mother plant so I don't know how tall she will grow. I don't want to flower to early and lose weight but I also don't want to send it to flower and run out of room. any help would be appreciated. :jointsmile:

what can I expect in the streach? will it double in size?? I need to be careful I don't have much space:S5:

Depends on the strain.
Sativa leaners stretch more than Indica, generally.
I left you 12 inches of headroom so you don't burn the tips.
And the fimming will give you more buds at the right height.
Almost a SOG.

Nine and a half inches, gees I'd top it right off. For one plant under a 400 watt you'll want to veg for a while to get a decent yield/return on investment. Inidicas like to reach maturity before they flower. This occurs when the branches alternate from side to side. Usually for seed it's six weeks, clones may go quicker. You'll want 12"-18" over the plant to the light, if it's an uncooled reflector. You will LST the plant to keep it in your limited area. Are you growing in soil?

yes im growing in a mix of organic soil and worm castings ( my friend owns a MASSIVE worm farm so I get all the free worm castings I want ) and im using biocanna bio vega organic nutrients. also at what stage can I take cuttings? I will post pics soon. thanks for the help :thumbsup:
