    Defoliation

I'm currently experimenting with defoliation in veg. and flower state...I've been removing the larger fan leaves in veg. state and have noticed when I put them in flower the number of terminal bud sites has increased by at least 15% some strains even more...when in flower I increase the defoliation process as soon as I see bud production.... Currently I have 2 plants that are 2 weeks from harvest with huge colas...mentioned this to a fellow grower and he totally strips every leaf off his flowering plants, I've seen these plants and the buds are huge all the way down the plant...I only defoliate maybe 30% of the leaves currently...his bloom room sure looked weird with no leaves and all buds...but I was impressed ...has anyone out there tried this?

    Defoliation

i know if you arent careful it will produce hermies other than that they need some leaves to produce energy for budding.

    Defoliation

Have heard of this, and related it to stress and the power of the root. Believe that nugget came from Maine. Me, I believe in leaves as power producers and as storage batteries, my girls want all they can get, who am I to argue.

Save the pic to your computer. When you reply to a thread you should see a pic frame icon located by the font size, etc. When you hover your cursor over it it will say insert image. Click on it then click on from computer. Click on browse, find your image, and upload it.
