Oil is dark brown, almost backish, what does it mean?

Bought some oil. Not told of the name of they variety used, or how processed. Well, this is what happens,
    when desperately seeking a cure.

Quite clueless here. If the oil turns out dark brown, what does this mean?

Also, in terms of producing low THC, does it depend on much gas is used?

Is it possible to produce a oil that takes out most of the THC and leaves higher
    CBD?

    Many thanks,

    It depends.
If an alcohol extraction, it means there was still some water in the starting material, or in the solvent.
A very dark brown can mean that the oil was scorched a little when decarbing.
A dark brown that smears to yellow, or amber, usually indicates good quality.

Sorry, I'm too medicated to decipher that.
    Try re-phrasing.

    CBD?

    Many thanks,

    Um, yes.
Start with a high CBD strain.

As for separation of the two from existing oil?
Theoretically, one could do a fractional distillation.
But pragmatically, that is beyond this humble cookers abilities.

Your best bet for a real answer?
Hunt down Graywolf and ask him.
    Just google Graywolf or Skunkpharm.

    Thanks for the info.

Is it correct that if the oil is purged in an oven, CBD & THC will be turned in CBN?
If using Butane and no solvents, could it contain heavy metals?
If getting an oil, one suspects contains heavy metals how to purify?

I up dosed from a pin prick dose of RSO to about twice this last night. Again, horrid sensations, palpitations and insomnia... Does this means THC is higher in this oil? (It was bought, too ill to grow my own).

    No, than is not correct.

    Very unlikely

    No can!
Get your oil from a different source.
    Contact Phoenixtears for more information.

More likely it means that you are either exceptionally sensitive to Cannabinoids, or it's time to have that oil tested by a lab.
If you intend to get oil from that vendor again, it's worth the cost of a chromatograph to verify it's content and purity.

You have a lot of reading to do, my friend.
