Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

I don't really smoke myself, but i'm not against it. I was wondering if someone could give me some useful (and hopefully unbiased) information about weed?

Unbiased-- probably not. Useful info-- maybe. I do have loads of BS go organic.

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

    Nathan,

I'm a gardener by nature - Love it. I spend countless hours with my plants. There is one thing I can say about weeds, they are annoying, while sometimes pretty, always annoying and hard to keep out of my garden. I don't think this is really an unbiased opinion about weeds, because i really don't like them.

But hey, if you wanna start of dandelions, that's your own business! I'm sure theres a forum for that

But coming here saying you don't smoke and asking peoples unbiased opinion, kinda makes you sound like one of the uptight kids in college that aspire to work for a great company rather than the kid in college that aspires to run that same great company. No offense intended, but if you want an unbiased opinion about weed, you came to the wrong place. that's like walking into a bar and asking for an unbiased opinion on alcohol.

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

I have suffered from several ailments over the years, blood transfusions, horrible car accident, and I have a multiple fused vertebrae in my neck that cause me constant pain. I also get horrible migraines (almost forgot about that one)

I've been using MJ medicinally for about 6 years, I'd been a casual smoker for a long time, until one day I finally realized after smoking an entire week, I no longer had any back or neck pain. During some point of this period, I thought I was becoming a typical stoner, and decided to clear up for awhile, and make sure I was focused on the right objectives. Then my migraines came back, the pain came back, inflamation in my knees came back (played football all through HS and college, knees have almost zero cartilage left). It was then I decided that just because I use MJ casually and enjoy the added benefits of being able to be physically challenged (while maybe not always up for the task) I could care less about the stigma behind it, and would do my best to make sure what I use fits my symptoms and allows me to continue on doing what I love to do in life.

I now have a strain that covers ALL my symptoms, allows me to work, interact, socialize, and enjoy my 'quality' of life, with the only negative side effect being when my jars are empty, my pain returns.

Its truly not addictive. When I run out, its not like I'm itching for a fix, or try to find something else to do the same trick, so its not a gateway drug either - When I run out, I simply realize that I must find an alternate source, or suck it up and wait for my next harvest

Oh, the other negative is the law. I've never been in trouble, and fortunately where I just moved its decriminalized, so... YAY (haven't moved yet, but packed!)

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

what about the THC? does that not coat your lungs? if so could it do damage to them?

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

Well, inhaling anything aside from air isn't that great for you. Your lungs aren't going to get 'coated' in thc - its evaporatad into the smoke, and then through some process of goodness, a portion of it is absorbed into your bloodstream.

So, could it do damage? Fortunately its entirely organic and most of us aren't adding chemicals that we later smoke - However unfortunately just like anything your willing to roll up and smoke, there could be long term damage. Enough to scare someone off for medicinal purposes? Naw, there are other forms, vaproizers, edibles, capsules, tintures, oils, I'm sure before too long there will even be creams and facial treatments

In the grand scheme of things, the papers I use to smoke out of are more harmful to me than what I produce to smoke And I'll keep doing it.

what about depth perception, is it effected? I guess to say, could you drive after smoking?

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

I'm pretty responsible, and the strain I smoke gets me feeling good, not stoned. However, I do know if I've had too much, and I wouldn't dare do something as dumb as driving. Keep in mind, there is a big difference between using, and being high. I can smoke and drive just fine, but its because I know what I'm smoking, and I know it's not going to get me 'there' until I sit down for the night, and roll a phat blunt.

All that being said, the biggest issues while driving are normally related to reaction time. As a teen I'd be going 20 in a 45, or simply just sit through an entire green light. But yeah, under normal circumstances, I'd say wait til you were cleared up before you go driving.

Hello Everyone. I had a couple of questions...

not much i can add to this other than, no matter how much or how potent it is, i have never been unable to function mentally or physically in any capacity. that may not be typical for a lot of people but it always has for me.
i will also say that unlike alcohol if i was that impaired i could just eat half a bag of doritos and feel fine.
