DOT UA and physical. Which route should i go?

Long time lurker here,
I have quite a predicament on my hands that I hope this forum will help steer me in the right direction. I have quite an opportunity to fall in my hands if only I can pass a dot UA and physical. I have a good family friend of ours that owns his own hot shot trucking company and he had his main driver fall out on him and offered me that job. I have to get my CDL as fast as I can because he is without a driver so he is sending me next week to get my physical and UA. Then he will do the pre-employment screening. I am a heavy smoker and have smoked about a half a week ago. So obviously my own piss isn't going to be clean. Should I try to sub or is there another way to go? I have read a lot about subbing and have heard good things about quickfix but on labcorb website they state that they will be able to identify substitutions. Anyone have any experiences that they could share? It is going to be a dot screening so I'm scared shitless. I might be able to find a donor that would be willing to help me out with clean piss if Im advised not to go the synthetic route. Any and all feedback is much appreciated.
