my friend is willing to sell me a kilo worth of salvia divinorum 'incense' for $30, i know u suppose to smoke dried leaves and extract, but is incense the same thing? and m i getting a good deal?

well...a kilo for 30 bucks sounds pretty good. But if it is useless then its still 30 wasted. Ask him to chip you an eigth first and then try it out.

they sell salvia as "incense" on ebay but it comes in a baggie and its not in a stick. to sell it, they label it as an incense, but it can come in the form of an incense stick. i would ask to see it first and if it is good, buy it. 30 dollars for a fucking kilo is cheap as hell. u get a gram of 20x for just under that price. if its just the leaves, extractions are fairly simple and are on erowid

Salvia Divinorum is sold as incense by law in the US. But, if you smoke the leaves right you'll definately trip out.

Salvia is also sold as a concentrated leaf extract which is then soaked back onto normal leaves. This stuff is very powerful and most people find it very easy to trip on the extract.

Actually, many people reacy very differently to salvia. I've smoked out some friends on some really strong extract and they barely get buzzed. One or two hits of good extract sends me off into a different world!

As far as normal leaves go, a kilo is a buttload! I bought an ounce once and didn't know what to do with all of it! 30 bucks is an amazing deal. You could sell it for $30 - $50/oz if you found the right buyers.

In order to trip on the plain leaves you gotta smoke as much as you can using a water pipe in about 5 minutes, holding each hit in for 20-30 seconds. You don't have to smoke too much to really trip out on that.

Probably the best way to use the plain leaves is to soak them, put a huge wad in your mouth and chew them slowly, not spitting or swallowing for about 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes you should be tripping out as if you were on mushrooms.

Again, even just an ounce of leaves would be enough to make like 10 huge wads to chew on.

I hope you enjoy your salvia experience. Be sure to do it in a very comfortable place. It's not a party drug. Be prepared to relax and let yourself go.
