    Is my plant a male?

I am brand new to growing. I have a few seeds that have just sprouted, but my uncle gave me a plant that he's had for a little while and I am about 99% positive it's a male. I would just like some educated information on my plant in specific. I have read how to tell the difference, but I would like some re-assurance.

If you like the strain....males produce seed. Seperate the two....stash a little pollen....hand pollinate....and Viola, future resources!

Thank you, this is plant is outdoors in the woods (off my property) on 12/12. Is there ANYTHING I can do with this?
Males do yield little bud right? or no?

No, males produce no medicine to speak of. No hash, no oil, no butter, nothing worth while except pollen to make seeds.

Males would make some nice clothes, rope, shoes, paper etc, etc. hemp has been used for a long time until our American nazis felt it was in competition with Their industries!

hate to argue this one but that statement isnt exactly true. males do in fact have trichomes they may not often be as potent as females but occasionally can be very nice.
male trichs are just like the trichs on young plants no stalks they lay right up against the plant tissue and they are small.
in countries where hash is prevalent. keif, true keif that is, is made from males and unfortunately has more pollen than trichs usually.
in my growers guide mel or ed talk about using salt water cures on males because the salt causes the tissues to shrink more than other types of curing.
that concentrates the trichs and makes the smoke a little better. ive tried some males here and there. for the most part they suck but once in a while you can get lucky.

Thank you so much for the information! I'm not in desperate need to smoke or anything; and hopefully wont be. I just didn't know if they produced any bud at all.

I remember as a kid smoking anything that would burn. I like to think that we've moved on from that stage here. Go ahead and grow, harvest and smoke all the males you want or try to make hashish. If anyone does try it I'd like to hear their review of such effort.
