I'm starting to think it's the only reasonable long-term option; not just for me but for just about anyone.

It's tough all the way around, from start to finish, I even bought a backhoe cause I did want ANYONE else involved.

I say lets all go to southern Co & start a commune! Live by our own set of rules, thumb our noses at society & moon our bare asses in the face of the government! Now that the legalization movement is rolling, I'm getting frustrated that it isn't rolling fast enough. I've been on this thing for over 40 years & my patience is wearing thin!

Since MPP & NORML anounced Md is putting legalization to the vote, I've stayed online looking for more info. Nobodys putting out anymore info though. Why not? I'm on a quest for info & all I got was a tease! But should tight assed Md actually legalize, we could start a commune here! It warmer (oops, usually). Everything is..... hurry up & wait.~~~eh, I'm bummed.

A commune was started about 75 miles from me here in TN and they call it "The Farm". Quite an interesting place and totally self sustainable -cool place!
But if I am going to sustain I want tropical weather- no more frigid temps without even a tease of snow!

Northern cali is very nice, staying on the coast maybe a vineyard area. Been hunting for a cave myself. Get a tourist trap and shut down areas for safety reasons, have electricity on site. Plus some have work area buildings. Surface for self sufficiency.

I wanna go to 'The Farm'! Tenn is a tad warmer than Md. I love the rolling hills & I'm from WV, so it would be less of a culture shock for me. Are they online?

Ahhh.. only one problem with that......I'd want to LIVE in the damned cave & would still have to build a bunker! LOL! I do love the vineyard country. Prettiest sight I've ever seen. I could never afford to move there, but I do have a beautiful memory of it I can visit anytime.
