A good quality potting soil will be fine. Don't use LillyMiller powder fert as there is no bacteria added to it. Only Whitney Farms or Dr. Earth.
Why would you think you're in over your head? It's not hard.
Pretty much any NPK that is for flowering. Dr. Earth has many different ferts but the one that is something like 4-8-3 should work. So will 5-5-5.

I have been doing some research on here and the internet and am having trouble deciding what soil I should start with. Last summer, I planted a Big Bang auto outside in the middle of a heat wave in August and it didn't end well. This time I am determined to grow however, I will do so indoors this time. I recently purchased a higher quality LED Grow Light (it wasn't cheap) I researched the optimal light spectrums for cannabis and the optimal nanometer Rating: 5
