to resize them try using Adobe Photosop or Adobe ImageReady or something similiar, if you have them.. Their 'Help' menus will have instructions on how to resize images

cool pics. You can try to use Photoshop like ghostoker said, or if you don't have the money for that try the open source alternative which is called Gimp.
