Picked up this nifty little accessory today...

So I was making a list of a couple things I wanted to add to my room to complete it, and on my list was to get a bigger carbon filter, because the one I have I guess is to small, doesn't kill the smell really. Well I was looking at lowes to get all my supplies minus the filter. Then I figured since the HTGsupply store near me is pricey why not check to see if they had anything I could use at lowes. I found this carbon air purifier for 159 bucks, its very quiet, says removes odor, mold spores, etc all the good stuff. Don't know if anybody posted anything like this or has tried one before so any info would be great if so!!! I figured for the price it was worth it...its way quieter then my fan/filter I currently have, Ill install it in the room when lights are on to see how it does with smell and will report on it. Here are some pics of it, tell me what yall think?

P.S. Was messing around with it while uploading pictures and you can cut the UV-c light on or off if you want, and the fan stays running. Kinda neat. Since the light that comes on is a LED true blue it's safe to keep that on correct? Ive read that the blue light is safe during flowering and that some actually use blue lights to keep the plants growing during flowering with no ill effects, is this true? If not no biggy can keep the light off or cover it up I suppose, thanks again.

Well its been running for 10 minutes and I am use to the whole room outside my closet stinking bad, and even lingering into the hallway.....now I don't smell anything AT ALL!!! Even the room itself has a very very faint smell, im thinking this was a great buy, will give a update after it runs longer.

Wanted to add, when I had my heater running in my home it made the smell worse so I usually kept the air running....i have my heat on full blast right now and still smell nothing

Well 16 hours later and its working miracles....there is absolutely ZERO smell in the room and even in the closet where the plants are....I don't even have the UV-c light running either because I was unsure of the blue light and didn't have any duct tape to block it. So if you got the extra 160 bucks its definitely worth it!!! One of the best buys for my grow room yet.....can actually say the fan and carbon filter I bought from the hydro store can go in the trash.

After your start, sounded so good actually did some inter net looking, fighting mold. Think it arrived on last new seeds. Looks like high concentration of o³ might help. Please keep us informed. Thanks
