hey guys
so this is my 4th grow and already my babies have had a naff time, they were at a friends who didnt keep the lights on the right times, no fan, and left in a black bag for a day tied up, when i finally got them in the tent and under better conditions ie- away from said friend, they looked like they was about to die, 24hours later and happy days, phew! i need to check my other log to find out exact date but there nearly two weeks.
my growing skills is a little unorthodox but i get bye and have fairly decent results but yet so very much a noob
1x1x2 tent
600w hps dulex-from seed at 3.5f, now at 2.5f and end of next week ill place 24" n maintain
little 6" fan
iv taken the carbon filter off as its not too much of an issue with regards to smell, thankfully, but i have the fan inside blowing fresh air from outside straight into the tent at the bottom with the only outlet at the top, unless open of coarse.
compost medium but have chosen slightly smaller pots than last time as i found i had better results as i would have to feed them more due to soil drying up.
already have a rare one in the gang, she produced 3 leaves from the get go? :wtf: due to this iv topped her on her second node so will in theory get 3 main stems, which has already taken affect and happening.
gonna keep a log just coz its unusual and always a good read when uv blazed a few. peacehigher_than_you Reviewed by higher_than_you on . 3 leafed wonder, pineapple chunk hey guys so this is my 4th grow and already my babies have had a naff time, they were at a friends who didnt keep the lights on the right times, no fan, and left in a black bag for a day tied up, when i finally got them in the tent and under better conditions ie- away from said friend, they looked like they was about to die, 24hours later and happy days, phew! i need to check my other log to find out exact date but there nearly two weeks. my growing skills is a little unorthodox but i get Rating: 5

yeah i wanna see that too. ive seen a few in my years but none that turned out to be anything to write home about. they all had some sort of mutation.
that one looks perfect so far. they claim there is all sorts of bennies to having them. if it grows right i can see yield potentially being higher.

quick update:
taken a little longer than i hoped it would for them to recover from there firsts two weeks of life but they seem to have picked up pace and are starting to bush out and become a darker shade of green and the growth speed has increased for which i am thankful! really wasnt sure if they would a mass to anything? lst'd them a couple days ago, accidentally split the main stem on one, but hopefully sorted it with a string brace and her tips have all turned towards the light so she should be good, i hope! Attachment 290465Attachment 290466 ill will be putting them into flower next week, i personally feel they need some more recovery time and just a little more bush to them. i will post pics of there weekly nug progression, packet states 8 weeks but iv read these slide towards the sativa so im thinking 9-10, iv seen a log where they took 103 days n the chap said they probably could have done with another week or two :wtf: that was a few years ago tho, so hopefully the genetics would have progressed and got better, also read they like to stretch so hence the early top and lst method although lst is my preffered method of growing. peace

NIce grow area, Bub!
not polyploid, it's called whorled phylotaxy. They are nothing special, I've had less than normal results with them and i've grown out a dozen or so.

by the by, I've seem some photos of polyploid cannabis and it's crazy looking, all kinds of tight growth. google polyploid cannabis images. There are a few there ( and many that are not polys).

thanks sh
i did a google search and i believe it is whorled phyllotaxy, some pics were the spit of mine as seedlings. as for having less than normal results tho im surprised as u already have an extra branch? iv got 4 of the same strain, at the end ill post a wet harvest results and see if there is much variation in weight although i dont know how creditable it will be as i think i have 1 that is of a different phony, grew tall and sparce, not sure if due to her early conditions tho? and i split her during lst! lol tbh ill just be thankfull if they go the distance
