General Hydroponics charts differ ?
Has anybody noticed the difference between what is on the back of a GH container, grow, micro, or bloom. compaired to the chart from there web page ?
Tell me why, just for instance,,, the gro on the container suggests 15 ml per gal. for aggressive growth, compared to 1 ml on early, mid, or late bloom on a flora series simple drain to waste chart. simple question ? or is 1 tsp not = to 5 ml ?neproracer Reviewed by neproracer on . General Hydroponics charts differ ?
I have also noticed this... the only thing I can think of.. is you would follow the back of the bottle if you were using it as an additive to a different kind of food (although Im not sure why you would use only one part of a 3 part system?) So in other words.. you can use "grow" as a veg booster along side other nutes.. or "bloom" as a bloom booster etc... If you are using all 3 parts.. stick with the feeding chart for now.. It will keep your plants happy and healthy with a useable end result. Just FYI.. most cannabis strains can handle 2-3 times more food when using a B-1 vitamin supplement (B-52, Vitamax, etc) in OPTIMUM conditions (High Co2, controlled temp/humidity, good lighting etc.). The chart they give you is more of a guidline to get you started... In time you will get to know your strain and how much you can push it! My final week of feeding consists of 10G, 20M, and 30B per gallon.. It ramps up week over week to get to that point.. but it just goes to show how much more food these plants can take! Cheers!

General Hydroponics charts differ ?
Thanks for the reply Jay, the below isn't just for you, but hoping some more answers come along for my original ?
because a couple years ago, if you look, GH feeding scheddule use to use a lot of grow, up to 5 ml for agressive, that was the old light green schedule, now with the blue schedule that came out last year, its mostly 1 ml per gal. so,,,,,,,,,, why that change ?
I took a couple pictures last night to throw out here. you can see nute burn on the Great Whites, at 5 weeks of 12 .
ok, hope Im not making a mess of this simple question.

General Hydroponics charts differ ?
Honetly man.. I think the only people who could answer this question with any kind of accuracy would be the folks at GH... They probably have a team of scientists constantly testing different mixtures of food to see what has the best results at different stages of plant growth.. My guess would be that if they changed the feeding schedule a few years ago.. it was probably because their own research has been more finely tuned. I also know that since medicinal use came in a few years back.. many hydro food companies have been tailoring their formulas for cannabis (which are quite different from house plants). I think they just realized that the "house plant crowd" are NOT the ones buying their products.. and now that its actually legal to test for medical purposes.. many hydro food companies are taking advantage and tailoring their formulas specifically for cannabis.. Thats my best guess.. but maybe shoot them an email and get back to us just to be sure! lol
