Attitudes on censoring...
Fuck, f*ck, f__k and so on are the same thing to me. The meaning of the word is conveyed by either going for the gold and spelling it all out, or using universally recognized symbols to replace strategic letters in the word. Either way, everyone knows what you're saying whether or not you're actually saying it.
I've noticed some here who are letter replacers, for lack of a better term, and others who just spell it out, like me. This is a question more for those who don't spell it out.
I'm just wondering what the difference is in your mind between fuck and f*ck, when it's the still obvious meaning of the word that is considered offensive and not the word itself. I mean, if you can type f*ck, why not fuck?
Any thoughts? I'm not trying to patronize anyone with this. I'm just curious.bhallg2k Reviewed by bhallg2k on . Attitudes on censoring... Fuck, f*ck, f__k and so on are the same thing to me. Adults don't need to use profanity,in order to git their points across..but I can understand,if that is a natural part of someone's thinking, and they express themselves that way,as a natural response.
I was raised not to cuss unless I really meant it,and to be respectable of a ladie's presence..I wouldn't talk to my mother that way-or other ladies..I guess that I'm just old-fashioned..seems being rude..is politically-correct these days.
Have a good one....
