You want your soil to dry out, so maintaining a schedule of water application even twice a week might be too often, but this depends on how warm it is and how rapidly the soil dries. Why half strength? If the instructions are for full strength, why dilute? pH is too low for ferts going in a soil grow and I suspect this might be the reason for your curling issue. Are you planning on sticking with 1000ppm? Is that half strength? I don't have a problem with what you use to take pictures, but I asked for pics in white light, not sodium, so I can see the leaves better. I'm trying to help you, but you didn't really respond to my questions. I'm not sure that using so many additives just because you can is a good idea. Most of the time when these plants don't grow right, it's because the grower is doing something wrong. Usually doing too much of one thing and not enough of something else, and I think that's what's going on here. No offense, just my opinion. Oh, the point to flushing is to use water only.
