    Prepped for Test, it was cancelled until tomorrow, need some advice

    So I smoke regularly, not every day, but couple times a week for over a year or so.

    Last smoked this past weekend (Saturday evening), then received a call yesterday about a job - they wanted me to go at 9 am TODAY for urine test.

    Friend suggest qcarbo20 - so I bought it, drank lots of water last night, and did the qcarbo20 and pills this morning - starting at 6 am.

    THEN found this forum (while waiting and drinking) and read the post about dilution. Wasted my $$$ but ok what's done is done.

    As I'm leaving at 8:35, I get a call that my appointment was cancelled and it's now it's for TOMORROW MORNING. Well that just sucked. Besides wasting $$, I now had to pee like crazy all morning, and was a bit nauseated.

    Anyway, so guess I have to do this all again tomorrow morning - So I'm reading the dilution sticky and wondering the following;

    1.) Obviously I haven't been loading on red meats 'cause this wasn't something I knew about several days ahead of time. However, I think I read that the Qcarbo contains extra stuff to help mask the dilution of massive amounts of liquids before the test. Will it be enough to help tomorrow? Probably not - So thought about buying it again, but a) worried it might actually cause harm to my kidneys (I have no idea what all is in that bottle/pills) and b) doesn't seem necessary considering what I read in the dilution thread. I thought about getting some creatine supplements, but seems from what I've gathered it's too late for that to have any effect...Correct????

    2.) That leaves option # 2 - buying a bunch of gatorade and some b2 or b complex vitamins and following the dilution thread steps - but again - after whatever I consumed this am, is it dangerous to take another high dose of those types of vitamins - the very next day????? I want the job, but it's not worth my health ;-)

    Thanks for the advice. Wish I had found this forum before buying the qcarbo and wish I had known about this test before I did!!!!

    Sure those overpriced bottled diluters may brag about containing creatine. What they dont tell you (perhaps in an effort to avoid blowing a sale) is that it takes 2-3 days for the body to convert creatine into creatinine in order for it to be present in the urine. Therefore, the creatine ingrediant will do you no good when the snake oil product is consumed on the day of the U/A (in which youre required by the product instructions to do so). Any creatine-loading must be done at least 3 days before the U/A.

    How much creatine you would need would depend on a few factors, including your "baseline" creatinine level and how much fluids were consumed - and youre not going to know any of this without testing your creatinine levels with a validity test kit.
    You should have a few of these kits at hand anyway when utilizing dilution techniques, so you can stay on top of your creatinine levels as well as your S/G. Do a Google search for "drug adulteration test kits".

    The proper vitamin for urine 'color' is B2 (Riboflavin). But it must be understood that with creatinine and S/G checks being lab SOP in recent years, color became the least aspect in determining an overdiluted urine sample. Even samples with a nice yellow color to them can still be ruled "diluted" due to unsatisfactory S/G and creatinine levels.

    First, thank you so much for your advice. I'm learning quite a bit here!

    Next - I know someone that works at this company and he says it's an "instant" test - haven't had time to google that yet, but just wondering if you or any other experts here would know if that makes a difference. My thinking is, does "instant" mean that there isn't any creatinine testing going on? (complete newb here when it come to this)

    Thanks!

    No it doesnt mean that at all. Because there are instant-type kits available (in dip card, cassette, and EZ Cup forms) that feature additional panels for creatinine and S/G. And theyre not all that expensive.

    Well that answers that! Thanks so much. Will try dilution and cross my fingers. All I can do at this point. At least y'all saved me from throwing more $$ away.

    Thanks!
