i am a first time grower and i tryed the papper towl and the water in the glass both work but the best and safe way to germinate is to put your seeds in a small glass of water for about two day maybe 3 and the tap root should show. when you see the tap root plant them as soomn as they break the seed shell. i put my seed in water in side of my grow box so the water is about room temp . oh and dont let the water sit for 3 day cuz the water becomes stagnate. and when you plant if your are using soil you might what to make sure that your soil is damp and your should see results in like three to 5 days . but like i said i am on my first grow so do some research bro.
