In most cases... if the yellowing is happening to the bottom leaves it is usually lacking nitrogen.. The plant will suck nitrogen from the bottom leaves and divert it to the tops as they are closer to the light... Those yellow leaves will never go green again.. so you may as well clip off the really bad ones.. and up your feed a LITTLE bit.. usually a little more "grow" in a 3 part food will do the trick.

I highly recommend using a B-1 vitamin supplement like B-52 by Advance Nutrients, or VitaMax by Grotek... The vitamins boost the metabolism of your plant and allow it to take considerably stronger feeds without burning.... If you use the feeding schedual supplied with the food you use.. PLUS the B-1 additive.. you should pretty much never run into these kinds of problems(unless you start feeding too early/late)! The additive is fairly pricy.. Im in Canada, and a 1L of B-52 is about 40 bucks.. but you only add between 5 and 10ml per gallon.. so it does last a while.. and you will notice a MUCH more controlled grow!
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
