I just bought today the Canadian QF. I thought, since it's got the uric acid, and otherwise is the same as the red-white-and-blue QF...why not? Am I missing something here? Why wouldn't everybody buy the Canadian version?

Next question refers to the heating pad. It seems to me that most of them i've seen...designed for camping, seem really, really hot. I've never thought to take a temp reading. But for those of you who've used QF, once heated (for about :10 seconds as the directions say), will the heating pad rubber-banded around the QF keep it at the correct body-temp range? Seems like it would overheat, but that's why i'm here. I don't know.

Because i can't afford to fail, i'm also getting an anti-adulterant detection kit to test the QF for specific grabity, Ph, and creatinine. Just another level of security, but i consider it cheap insurance. Anybody else done this?

Hey.. i kept mine warm by heating it to proper temperature and holding it in my crotch. it is not hard to hold the bottle up in your crotch area.. with a bit of practice you can walk normally and keep the bottle in an area which is in the mid 90s.

the pad does get hot. if you go that route you can put the sample in the cup, check the temp, if too high swirl it around a bit until it cools, leave the room when it is reading normal

The caper went off without any trouble, now im just freaking out about them knowing it wasn't mine somehow. I have read many many happy reviews from QF on employment screens. Just looking for a reassuring word that it will be ok. It's doubly insane since we legalized green for Adults in the last election. But I would definitely get in trouble with my very lucrative job if they found out I like to toke in the evening. Labcorp Lab Rating: 5
