Browning on Fan leaves a day after Changing DWC solution
Usually when people use foliar feeding, it doesn't go well. You shouldn't need to foliar at all, especially in DWC. Also, you might try not fighting the pH so much. In other words let it drift some, don't be so quick to get it down to 5.5. I'm not sure that 5.5 is optimal, some say it's the bottom of the range, but frankly the whole range could be 5.5 to 6.8. I'd ask about this is the hydro forum and do some research elsewhere and see what you find. Why did you switch nutes?
polishpollack Reviewed by polishpollack on . Browning on Fan leaves a day after Changing DWC solution Just switched to new, clean, 5.8pH 800 ppm temp adjusted buckets yesterday, and I'm seeing some brown discoloration on a couple of leaves of the LSD Kush plant. 289608 I just trimmed the funky leaves. Any ideas? Plants look and feel healthy otherwise. Here's the info: What is your experience level? Novice. What type of hydro set-up are you running? DWC Grodan clones with expanded clay medium to fill. Your Equipment: A) Type and wattage of lights. 270W LED B) Distance from tops? Rating: 5
