Ah, I am an idiot. Over diluted. What now? (Quest)

For the record, I had never visited this site until after I did a dumb thing by over diluting. I have since read every single post in the section, all 5 pages, and learned enough to know better next time. Still, I am anxious and would love to hear experiences and thoughts.

I took a job two weeks ago as a parts girl, driving the company car and delivering auto parts. There was no pre employment drug screen. I have never, in 10 years of driving, had so much as a fender bender or even a parking ticket, so I simply wasn't worried about post accident testing. That was my first stupid assumption.

On Wednesday, another motorist tapped the back of the company car I was driving and we swapped paint. I had to follow the company policy and call the cops, take pictures, etc. I then had to immediately go for a post accident drug screen.

Two hours elapsed between the accident and the drug screen. My genius self drank 140oz of liquid in that two hours. 20oz of coffee, 80oz of water and 40oz of poweraid. I peed 6 times before the test. After reading here for days, I am certain I unnaturally lowered the specific gravity and the creintine levels of my sample.

I immediately ordered home tests and was negative yesterday (Saturday) with second morning urine and negative today (Sunday) with first morning urine. I am confident that if asked to retest, I will pass naturally.

What is losing me sleep is what happens between now and retest. I took the test at a hospital, and they sent it to Quest on the other side of the country. Does the MRO always call for diluted tests? What to they typically say, or ask? Since I am already employed, is there a good chance my company will order a retest?

I feel like such a dummy. I probably would have passed no problem had I not over diluted.

I am 26, female, 5'4", 150lbs and light smoker. The test was Wednesday, I smoked (about 3 inhales) Sunday night. I smoke that much on average once a week. I am a midnight toker after the kids are in bed, and 3 inhales is all it takes to relax and chill.

I just wish they would get on with it, whatever happens, so I can stop obsessing about it!

Are you currently working or have you been "stood down" by the employer, pending the outcome of the U/A?

I am currently working, but I cannot drive again until HR reviews the drug screen and accident reports. My hours have been cut in half, but yes, still working and my immediate supervisor said she has no plans to hire a replacement.

I also took a breathalyzer at the same testing facility, which came back fine, of course. The motorist that hit me admitted fault at the scene and it was recorded in the police report, so I don't think they suspect any problems.

    Update

I was cleared to drive again by HR yesterday, two weeks and one day post accident / drug test. I never heard another peep about the DT, from the Quest MRO or otherwise.

All I can assume is the company was willing to accept a "negative, dilute" as a negative.

    Good news, in any case!
