You'll probably find that you don't need to add anything with miracle grow soil. You also might find that the stuff is too hot, especially for a small plant. And eventually, you'll find that your growspace is too small. 48" isn't bad but it's too narrow; at least, I think it is. But then we make due with what we have. Just water it and see what happens.
