Reassurance please...

Ok. So Thursday I went to take my first ever drug screen/test. It was a pre-employment and from what I have been reading here, I would not be supervised. I had decided to sub and bought some quickfix (expiration and batch number good). I practiced day of holding it between two pair of undies and keeping it at 98-100 with just body temp. After several hours, I was satisfied it would hold that temp so I changed caps and it started leaking! Obviously, this wasn't going to work so I just put the other cap back on. Long story short, I got it subbed, the gal had me initial a cylindrical container with my specimen in it, and then bagged it. HR said it should only take a day which means they'd have their report on Friday. Start date is tomorrow. So about 10am on Friday I get a call from HR asking me if I had tested because the center didn't have a report on me. I explained that I did, in fact, test on Thursday and that they should have it by the close of business. I also told them I took the test around 3ish (and the testing center closes at 4) so it might be toward the end of the day before they heard anything. The lady I spoke to is very excited to have me on the team and said that she really wanted me to start Monday, but if they didn't have those results...I could not. SO, after assurance that they would hear something by close of business, we said we'd see each other on Monday. That was the last I heard. I'm fairly certain their offices do not close at 4, like the testing center does, so if they had "not" gotten a report they would have called right? I really need this job and I have been beside myself with worry!

I was in your shoes not a week ago - and QF saved the day. It's the real deal (much to my amazement). Liquid Gold. I tested at Quest Diagnostics and came up clean as a whistle. I start my new job tomorrow!

Thanks Ivanhoe! I was hoping that no news was good news but wasn't sure and it would suck to get in there in the morning just to have them send me back home :/
