That depends on the facility. Some facilities have only a single stall while others are multi-stall.
If equipped with a multi-stall, the chances of the collection being monitored (not to be confused with observed) are high.
A monitored collection is used in situations where shutting off and securing water sources (to prevent tampering) is not practical (eg: multi-stall facilities, or if the facility is housed in an ancient building where the only way to turn off water sources is to shut off the water main for the entire building).
The job of the monitor is to stand inside the bathroom (but not inside the stall) and prevent other individuals from entering while the sample submission is in progress. The monitor will also make sure not to let the donor use the unsecured water sources for tampering. Again, the monitor is not to enter the stall itself while the donor is voiding. Thats the job of the observer in directly observed collections (which are only done with cause).
The quest here is in a newer strip-mall type development so I'm hoping its just a small single bathroom so I have some privacy....scared of tweeking with someone right outside the door. Called the local headshop that sells quickfix hoping they could give me some info on where the city tests but they wouldnt give out anything for liability issues.
