*LONG READ

Ive been smoking the sweet ganja for a little over a year now, and the first time i purchased a significant amount of weed (more than a gram or 2 at a time), was at the beginning of summer break last year (2011). I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the LAST day of school before break and i had lined up to buy a half ounce of "Fruit Dro" for $140.

Keep in mind that i wasnt just a super noob back then, i knew how to spot good weed when i saw it.

Now, if i would have known then, what i know now, i wouldnt have bought it, firstly there is no (not to the Best of my knowledge) "Fruit Dro" that exists, and if there was, it wouldnt be a flat $10 a gram, but $15 or $20. But luckily i was naive enough to believe in this deal.

I picked it up around 7 p.m. that night. When i got it i opened the bag and was overwhelmed by a pleasant and VERY noticeable Fruit smell. The best way to describe it would be to compare it to the strain "Heavy Duty Fruity" where there are several different fruit aromas mixed together. Inspecting the bud, i could tell it was not hydroponically grown, because it was not fluffy and was compact. Also in the half ounce, there was a few seeds (probably about 5 or 6) which isnt bad... for mids. But THE SMELL! i couldnt get over how dank it smelled, but knowing that it was probably just VERY High Quality Mids (Almost sinsemilla but grower probably just missed a single male plant and got it out of there a LITTLE to late), i was nervous that it was sprayed with something that was potentially dangerous. I was gonna text my "dealer" and ask him if he had tried it yet, because he bought some for himself at the same time he picked my bag up (hes more of a middle man), but i wasnt as close or familiar with him at this time as i am now. I was going to try it but i left town for the weekend before i could try it, leaving it a home obviously

By the time i got back i was feenin' for a toke. (even after a weekend of smoking weed lolz). I was nervous as i didnt know if when i started smoking it, it would taste like chemicals, or be harse from whatever might have been sprayed on it, but i wasnt about to waste $140. so i rolled it up in a zig zag and lit it up. :smokin: First hit, very pleasant fruit flavor but not overpowering:thumbsup:. After feeling it, i knew it was mids, because my tolerance was low and if it was dank, i would have been tripping but still the taste was amazing!

I finally saw my "dealer" after about 5 days and asked him what was up with the weed we got. He looked mad and said that he thinks his guy sprayed it with tobacco flavoring. I mentioned to him how it tasted and smelled awesome, and he even agreed, but added, "I wish he would have just left it alone and just sold it at mids the same price and not false advertised it so i could taste the bud, since thats what i payed for, and what i prefer" i agreed but thought this stuff would be cool to have for personal use. I wasnt (and still am not) mad at that guy. Its not like he ripped us off by charging 15 or 20 a gram or anything it was just average priced GOOD mids ($10) with a nice extra taste, i was pleased with it

He called that guy the next day and asked him what was up and "if that shits bad for me?" and the guy said he was sorry for false advertising but that the stuff he used is called tasty puff and isnt bad for you at all.

I had another run in with tasty puff a few months later. The same guy told my dealer he had some "blueberry mids" but this time admitting it was sprayed with tasty puff. My dealer wasnt interested but asked me if i was and... i was. And the blueberry was just as amazing as the fruit (which i later found out is TASTY PUFF: JUNGLE JUICE flavor) even my dealer smoked it with me when i got it and was pleased with the flavor.

My point is, as much as people hate on tasty puff, it is good. DO NOT GET ME WRONG. I love the flavor of weed, i would never put this spray on any loud weed or any strains, it is just nice to have for bud (usually mids) that is LACKING in flavor (weak) or tastes just bad in general. It is however, BULLSHIT to spray your weed with this stuff and charge inflated prices or to advertise it as something else, if you do that... then FUCK YOU!!!

And for the people who say "i would never put chemicals on my weed and ruin it" it doesnt ruin it, just enhances it. And it is not a chemical AT ALL. it is made from natural plant extracts and fruits, water, and coloring. IT IS FDA APPROVED AS FULLY SAFE, as are all of its ingredients (duh). MOST flavors dont taste like chemicals but be aware, because some do not because they ARE chemicals or dangerous, but the specific flavor's formula is too concentrated.

And now almost a year later, i finally ordered 3 bottles of Tasty Puff (spray) of amazon so i can flavor my personal batches. I got the Jungle Juice flavor (to bring back memories), The Blueberry (blueberry thrill), and Lemon Lime. And im stoked to try them, and smoke with people who are like holy shit this tastes good. Also got myself some juicy jays

And interestingly enough my same "dealer" (now a close friend) who was against tasty puff has ordered some too.

So just wondering what everyones opinion of Tasty Puff is? (Please dont bash or attack me, this is just my opinion, if you hate tasty puff, attack them not me)
