aresgalaxy.org is a p2p program similar to kazaa without the spyware. Bitorrent is always good (remember not to upload RIAA music you wouldn't want a lawsuit) You don't get viruses from .mp3 files you get viruses usually by .exe files or stuff like that, watch out for files labled like .mp3.exe that would be bad. My favorite alternative to iTunes music store is http://www.allofmp3.com its only $0.01 per megabite so songs cost $0.04-$0.10 verses the 99 cents you pay a song at itunes and you get to choose how you would like your music encoded! And yes iPods support mp3 format, songs you get from iTunes are in AAC formate and filled with DRM crap. I think iPods are overated expecailly considering there price and limit of functions.

ok under definition it's just the music that is protected by the RIAA....forgot what their name means...but they're just there to protect against piracy and they are the ones that are prosecuting people who illegaly download stuff...they tried to shut down all p2p programs by saying that they also distribute child pornography...that was thrown out..then in december of 2003 they were told they could not use people's names in court...now they just call them john doe and use their ip address..atleast that's the info i got from a site....and yes people download it anyways...almost everything i download is or should be protected...and either i read wrong or somthing but the RIAA protect only gold and platinum albums and singles...and i'm pretty sure that's not right cuz it doesn't make sense but that's also what it said on this page.

Is there any way those fuckers could find you when you use programs like limewire?
Just curious, I'm gonna keep using it either way, but it would be nice to find out.
