My first grow log..Sativa--Day 4....

HI Guys,
I thought it would be wise to start a grow log for my second plant since the beginning so here we go ppl,all the respected members of the community are invited to view the log and please do not forget to put in your inputs as i need a lot of advise from ya all.Love to participate more in discussions.Looking forward for ya blessing all along.

I am starting with minimum set up.
1)A balcony where i get sunlight from 8 am to 5 pm every (winters).Summers would be 7 am to 6 pm ..I guess...
2)A small plant which is in the 4th day of vegetation.
3)water at neutral PH.
4)fertilizers-Since none of the shops have the same ferts as available in US or UK or Australia like fox farm and other soil mixes are not readily available,So I am using a local soil.I have read that cannabis plant is compatible with a soil where corn can grow,So i have brought the soil from a park nearby where there are few corn plants even though local ppl don't harvest the plant ...just growing with other wild trees in the park.
For ferts I have high Nitrogen containing fert for the vegetative cycle and will use another rich in potassium in the flower cycle.
5)Please advise to how much water is enough in a day in liters? or say is there a limit like not more than 200 ml for a small plant in a day ...pls advise...

dunno where you are but i hope the length of daylight hours are getting longer for you not shorter. you need 16 hours at a minimum i believe to keep from getting hermies. 18 hours would be best with 6 hours of dark. you probably need to start there at least.
at 4-5 days old not much to tell you other than no ferts yet and dont over water them. they are little they dont need a ton of anything right now.

I am in India..actually i am getting sunlight from 8 am to 6pm which is like 10 hours..So as per your advise i have a small cabinet of 3 ft length and 2 ft broad.I will transfer the plants for another 6 to 7 hours.I will use a 35 watt CFL which produces 2400 lumens.Will follow the no fert and less water thing....Will keep updating...Here are few pics of day 6.Cheers...

Moonika has adpted well to the enviorment.The cabinet I am using is actually a Air cooler which is quiet large to coantain 9 small pots for vegging.So i am liking it and Good news is that two baby plants have shown up from the 4 seeds,waiting for the other two,the first two came up on the third day.I have named the Stella and Suzie.The one which is bent is Stella....I have three other pots which have chillies planted....vegging them with the girls.......Cheers........

Chilis? great stuff! I grow hot peppers outdoors in the summer.
At this time I have six tomatoes growing with my herb. They aren't getting very big but it's a joy to see them growing here in the winter when it's so cold outdoors.

Your soil looks a little dense. Maybe you can lighten it up some with peat moss, alfalfa or chopped corn cob or other mulch materials?
