It would seem to me you would want all the goodness which is why qwiso gets highest reviews for aroma. He also says you can just get paint thinner to do the extraction, this is highly unadvisable naptha is a mix of hydrocarbons and one of them being hexane which is why it will do good ( I suggest hexane) but naptha is not pure. I always use lab/food grade chemicals. And he says not to worry if there is residue as the resin will neutralize its poison? Please don't listen iso naptha butane will all cause serius harm if ingested. Nothing will be neutralized. Well that's all the things I can think of right now. If this medicine is for ingestion purposes you DO want it pure. I suppose if its for topical purposes it doesn't matter.
