Saturday, January 19 was truly a special day full of celebration of not just the 5th Anniversary of the Presto Quality Care MMJ recommendation center, but of the accomplishments of some very special people whose foresight and actions changed the lives of everyone reading this email newsletter.

Dennis Peron and Anna Boyce whose teamwork was instrumental in both the creation and passage of Prop 215 were feted by festive crowds at both the seminar and awards dinner. The two, who had not seen each other since the heady days shortly after the passage of Prop. 215 over 15 years ago, spoke eloquently about their passion for returning the legendary health and medical benefits of cannabis to the people. Joined by Paul Stanford, founder of the Presto Quality Care Medical Center, Judge James Gray and celebrated satirist Paul Krassner, it was a full day and evening of remembering the triumphs and disappointments of the past along with optimistic and realistic assessments of the future.

I am not sure if there will ever be another gathering of these mmj icons and pioneers, but it will surely be a day and evening that will be treasured by all who attended.
